Can you "feel" the grinding noise? Does it happen all the time? In 4wd and 2wd? Louder/ more noticeable with speed? Could be a wheel bearing.

The clicking noise. Sounds like it comes from under the truck not necessarily the front? Sounds like a bad u-joint.

it does it in 2wd, and i can feel it too... i thought about bad u-joints, but wanted some opinions/ advice on here!
the clicking comes more from the back, when i slow down, turn and drive up the hill. thats probably a u joint as well?

Sounds like it to me. Sometimes when they are going bad you can crawl under there after you've been driving and feel the yokes for the joints and they'll be warm/hot, but not always. If it turns out to be u-joints do 'em both while you have the drive shaft off it'll save the "practice" of doing it again if you just do one at a time..lol.

Make sure to mark all components so everything goes back together exactly the same way as they came apart.
