Exclamation Creaking from behind right front wheel when stopping/accelerating

Hey guys, hoping you can help me out with a problem, its been going on for a few months on and off, but over the past week its been a constant thing.

1998 4 door Blazer, whenever I come to a complete stop, say a stop sign of light, I get a fairly loud creaking noise coming from the right front wheel. Same thing happens when I accelerate from said stop. This happens everytime I stop/accelerate. I've also noticed that at slower speeds, say 5-15 mph, I hear "pops" from the same area. There seems to be no constant rhythm to them or anything, they just seem to happen.

I pushed up and down on the right front and I could isolate the noise, its directly behind the right front wheel. Sometimes when pushing I can replicate the clicking/creaking, other times, it just sounds like a dried out squeaking.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction, thanks

Sounds like worn sway bar bushings and or control arm bushings. Also check for broken sway bar links.

My Jimmy is making this exact same noise under the same conditions, and I know I have to replace my lower ball joint on the passenger side. Other than that, you might need to grease your front end suspension components and see if that helps.

I heard a similar noise from my '01 which turned out to be a torn CV boot where all the grease leaked out and it was kind of creaking and clicking so check that as well.
