flat leafs and dogtailing
 

I've been trying to help my buddy figure out whats wrong with his 99 blazer 2 dr for a while. The problem he has is flattened leaf springs (noticeably worse on the pass side) and when followin him down the road you can see that hes dogtailing about 3 inches to the drivers side (rear tires are off set 3 inches to the left of the front). Any ideas what it could be? We've already put 4 dr leafs outta the junk yard in and thay have flattened out after about 6 months in. Gonna be putting new sway bar bushings in soon and would like to fix the problem before hand so we are'nt gonna have to replace them from uneven wear in another year. Thanks for any help you may give.

Not sure why the leafs keep flattening.

The main reason I`v seen for dog tailing\leg is an out of square frame. Do you know the history of the blaz? Has it ever been wrecked?
When was the last time a 4 wheel alignment was done on it?

never been wrecked that we know of only other owner was his sister inlaw and last time he had an alignment check right after the leaf swap every thing came back as in spec (still waiting for him to show me the paper so i can see the numbers) i be thinking he might have a bad rear axle but until i can see the readout no way to tell

Well, the fact it has`t been wrecked is a positive. Hopefully means it is still fixable, at a reasonable cost, without the need of a frame table = body shop = big $$$
