i just replaced my idler arm. still pulls to the right.but seems a little better . my next project will be a diy alignment mainly because i see no play in the control arm bushings or ball joints. i also need a new rear tire, it has some hardly noticeable lumps in it and i bet thats what is causing this . it can't be that difficult to fix this

 

If you don't have a good spare of the correct size, just swap the two rear tires-- left to right--- to see if the truck then pulls to the left. Also be sure all four tires have the correct air pressure. If it then pulls to the left, it is probably the bad tire. Please let us know what happens.

 

i swapped the rear tires left to right. still pulls to the right. and now it feels like one of the front tires are bad for sure i need to check them. i will also inspect the control arm bushings. visually the upper bushings are bad for sure there is some rubber missing. i was told that to properly inspect them, you need to put the front end on jackstands , then jack up the lower control arm to take the force off from the torsion bar, then use a pry bar to check for play..

 

I keep thinking about the list of 'Similar Threads' always listed at the bottom of a new thread. I always read these because I have little success when 'searching' for a topic of concern. I saw one post in a 'similar thread' list which a poster was having a 'hard to find' solution to his Blazer problem. It was the center link was not 'level' because the idler arm was installed wrong. He took the idler arm off and replaced it correctly and that leveled out the center link. The problem was gone. I don't have the specific link and also see you were the one to install your new idler arm. But keep looking for the problem and you will find the solution.
