Front end work

Two questions, need advice.

I need to replace the lower ball joints on my 96 Blazer 4x4, 130,000 miles, so it will pass inspection. Since the bottoms are getting replaced and I'll be going through a lot of work, I will do the upper joints too. I've seen in previous posts Moog is a recommended brand, any thoughts on NAPA brand or others?

Second question refers to the ABS light staying on. There are no codes telling me why it is on. I was figuring the brake unit is out or a sensor but then while searching posts for ball joints, I read about the hubs causing the light to come on. Anyway to tell if the hubs have gone bad before I replace the hubs or are there other reasons for the ABS light?

Thanks in advance.

If the abs lights is on for an acutal reason and not just a short at the light it should have stored code. As for the balljoints I have the Napa ones for my lowers and I have Spicer Professionals for the uppers, they make the Napa ones.
