Help idk what happened 😳
 

Hi, i just joined. NEED HELP!!
so, basically.... I have a .... 02 ZR2 4x4 .... shes been "hiccuping" for a few months.... mechanic has no idea why....(I do have a locking gas cap, maybe its no good?) .... amd yesterday evening, when I pulled up to red light, stopped then went to turn.... and she acted like sluggish.
. Like it wasn't it DRive..finally she moved, bucking like... then when I came out after dinner.... she started right up, but when I put it in DRIVE, I could tell the gear didn't even change... was in drive, pressing gas obviously, and nothing. Called mechanic.... he said try putting in 4x4 and see if she would move...and she did move... but he told me I would have to go very slow to get it home. And I was over an hour from home. .... IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME AND LMK WHAT IS WRONG.... I WOULD BE GREATFULL. 🙏🥴🤯🙏🙏
