hubbearing.com
Hello all,
I want to write a quick review of hubbearing.com.
I ordered new hubs last week after 100k on my stock ones. The hubs that I received had a poorly designed ABS sensor, and it was cut by my rotors (reference my previous thread). So I called hubbearing.com and was pleasantly surprised to be connected with a person. No automated system with a list of options, just "ring, ring, Hello, Parts desk how can I help you". I told him my problem, he said that he'd never heard of this problem, but that he'd go find out if I'd stay on hold for a minute. About a minute later he came back and said that one of the guys had heard of this problem, and that he'd ship me a new set with the improved sensors ASAP. That was on Tuesday afternoon. It's now thursday, and my new hubs have arrived already. Although I am upset about having to re-do this job due to the original parts error on their behalf, I will continue to do business with them for the following reasons:
1) A real live person answered the phone immediately.
2) He didn't blow me off
3) He figured out my problem and fixed it right away.
4) Didn't make me pay again, with a promise of a refund after inspection of the parts that I return.
5) He didn't give me the run-around with 10 different people on the phone to solve my problem.
6) The parts shipped immediately (b/c I hate having my ABS and BRAKE! dummy lights on more than anything).
This may not belong in this section, but I think it's related to driveaxles and whatnot. And I'm glad that I got to deal with a distributor within the US.
So if you need new bearings, try giving them a chance. I'd call tho to let them know you need the ones with the non-F'd-up sensors.
Wow, even I'm surprised how un-pissed I am about being sent a crap item, just due to good customer service. Must be getting old.

That is good that they took care of you. I would have to wonder about their parts in general when looking at what you received initially. There is nothing "improved" about the proper hubs. You received the wrong hub the first time, plain and simple.
