Does anyone have instructions or can point me to some for replacing the power steering pump on a 1998 Blazer?

Thanks!

Ok pretty easy job.
1) Start by removing the 7 10mm bolts that hold the upper fan shroud in place.
2)The the 4 13mm nuts that hold the fan clutch assembly to the water pump pulley.
3) remove the belt
4) using ONLY a power steering pulley removal tool. Remove the power steering pulley
5) remove the 1 11mm bolt the holds the steering column to the gear box then pull the column towards the firewall to remove.
6) remove the 3 13mm bolts that hold the power steering pump in place.
7) carefully remove the pump from the mounting bracket and then remove the lines from the pump

Removal should take about 30mins
Do yourself a favor and buy a pump with a reservoir. You'll cause yourself a huge headache trying to reuse your old resevoir.

Install using removal steps in reverse.
use caution when replacing the pulley. There is no stop to tell you you have gone too far. Get it as close as you can by sighting down the other pulleys to ensure the belt will ride even.

Good luck report back!
