Leaf springs and Shocks
 

I tried searching the forums but either I'm getting old and blinder (likely) or just not using the search function correctly. Anyway,to get to my question :

I have the 2.5 in Rough Country lift on my 2000 LS 2dr 4x4 Blazer. I want to replace the leaf springs, spring bushings, and get four new shocks since I think the ones that came with my lift kit are shot.

I know having the lift kit in the mix complicates matters, so I don't know which brand/part numbers to get. I was looking at getting all Bilstein shocks but apparently I can't use their regular Blazer ones with the lift kit? Can you guys give me a hand with manufacturers and part numbers? I'm looking for heavy duty stuff since I live in a rural area and there are lots of trails and unpaved roads. Thanks!


EDIT :

I have confirmed that ZR2 OEM Bilstein shocks do work on regular 4x4 Blazers. Part numbers are :

The front shocks, 24-014120

The rear shocks, 24-018197

These are Bilstein B6 4600 shocks.

The Bilstein 5100 shocks are fantastic, so don't give up on them yet. I just tried to find a part number with no luck, but you can probably send an email to Bilstein and see what they say.

So it turns out Bilstein no longer makes their 5100 shocks for Blazers, and no longer makes shocks for lifted Blazers. Any other options?

Well, that explains why they're so hard to find.

So I contacted Bilstein, KYB, and Rancho. None of them make front and rear shocks for a lifted Blazer.

Any ideas, anyone? I really don't want to get another set of Rough Country as they blow out fairly soon.

Download Skyjacker's 2020 Catalog. It has all their shock specs (starting on page 214) so you can find them by length and mount type. It's a little tedious, but might be your best option.

No problem. I've seen something similar from Pro-Comp, but I can't seem to find it right now.

*EDIT*
Pro-Comp actually lists them by application (for my year, anyway, but yours should be the same). They show the stock length for a 2 inch lift, and this is what they show for a 3 inch lift.

while on the subject, do you have any recommendations for a leveling setup for towing heavy trailers? My camper pushes 4k lbs when loaded, and I sit backwards hot rod lol...

I need to redo my leafs and get new absorbers, so I've been following this thread closely lol...
