Manual 4x4 lever under blazer?
All of the sudden after this summer when I hit my electronic 4x4 button nothing happens. I was wondering if from what I see there is a silver lever under the driver side seat underneath the truck that I can just yank on and be in 4x4. Is there any modifications I have to do first or is this just a bad idea? Help would be much appreciated!
thats your transmission shift cable. alls that will do is make you go forward and reverse. if you got a push button its controlled by a motor. im not sure if you can reach under there and shift it manually. that would be nice though
As said, that is the shift lever from the transmission.
Without removing the electronic shift motor from the side of the transfer case, you cannot access the shift sector shaft to change the transfer case mode.
