My 8.5 Posi has smaller bearing than 8.5 open diff. Need larger outer race ?
 

I pulled a posi out of I believe a 1996 Caprice/Buick Roadmaster Wagon. The bearings on the posi is smaller than my 2 Door 2WD Blazer 8.5 open diff. Obviously the outer race is also smaller. I need a race with larger OD that will work with LM501349 bearing!

Is there a bearing race with larger OD that will fit my axle with the smaller bearing?

Is there possible bearing race adapter that will accept the smaller bearing race but will fit my 8.5 housing?
