Need tips about positraction / limited slip differentials

I have a 1999 blazer 4 door 2wd, only one of the back tires spins when I am accelerating. I would like to make it so that the rear tiers lock when I am accelerating but disengage when I am turning. Could I take the rear differential off of a 4wd blazer and put it on mine?

What your looking for is an axle with a g80 or a g80 itself to install. I know with a limited slip axle i think there is sometimes i can light both tires up but not always. If your also looking for something that you can engage and disengage when your driving than thats more or less a locker which is a totally different animal

What Paul said! Go to a wrecker or call & ask if the have a G80 axle out of a 2nd gen blazer or jimmy OR look around in here (search for locker) & see what choices you have that fit your budget & what you want for driving uses.
