Oil on undercarriage 98 blazer

Good Morning,

I am new to this forum. My daughter just bought a 98 blazer 4 x 4 and I noticed that there is what looks like fresh oil on the undercarriage above the rear differential. Would this be spraying from the rear pinion seal? It looks like it is on the bottom of the gas tank. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Also, if there were any leaks from the front and rear axle seals where would this show up? Thanks in advance.

I have since checked further into this and find that it is the output seals from the front differential to the axle. The leak looks like it is coming from the flange that is bolted to the differential where the axle goes into the diff. Anyone know step by step what you have to do to replace these?

when mine leaked i just unbolted it slightly used a screwdriver to open it up a little bit.
then i cleaned the surface and applied some rtv and tightened it back up.
might not be right but it worked for me.
