Default Popping noise in front end

My fiance has a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 4x4 pick-up truck. About 4 months ago, it started making a popping noise occasionally in the drivers side when I or she would turn the wheel side to side. More recently, it has gotten worse, now it does it all the time but only when the truck is rolling or driving. It is currently at Tire Discounters and they are trying to find the source of the problem. I personally looked at the truck with the guy at the shop and could find nothing. The ball joints were replaced back in September of 2011 and they are still good. If anyone has any advice or experience to share it would be appreciated.

Cv,or hub , make sure nothing is rubbing when you turn might be something simple like piece of plastic from inner fender
