Default Rear differential

2003 S10 blazer when turning left the left rear wheel drags,to the point of leaving skid marks. The same thing happens when you turn to the right, the passenger rear wheel drags.I don't know what kind of rear end this is but I do have the cover off.it has a couple of small spring loaded levers on one side of the carrier. The carrier moves when the wheels are spun manually,I don't see anything out of the normal.Has anyone seen this? What could be causing this and what do I need to fix this problem??

Try holding one wheel and have someone turn the other. You probably have some broken spyder (pinion or case side)gears broken. Try cleaning the case out with brake parts cleaner and checking for loose metal with a magnet.

If he's got the spring levers, its probably the G80...and it's probably grenaded in classic g80 style. The locker should only engage <20 mph...but yours is locked in permanently now [:@]

Brakes hanging up? If everything looks in order in the diff, I don't think it has grenaded. Or at least I would hope you would be able to tell.
