Default Rear End Noise

Ok here is the deal I just bought a 1996 S10 Blazer 2x2 and I noticed a weired humming noise coming from the right rear so I went out and replaced the U joints and seals, I then put new wheel bearings on ,now when i bought the new wheel bearings instead of a wheel bearing and seal it was a whole essembly I put it all back together. Now im getting a grinding noise from the right rear only when I accellerate 30mph+ when I let up it stops. Did I put the wheel bearing essembly in backwards or not in all the way? Im not sure..

Please help

The one piece bearing/seal assemblies are called "problem solver" bearings. They move the seal out to a different location on the shaft so that the seal is riding on fresh metal instead of the groove that the old seal rode in. The seal end of the assembly should be out.

As far as your grinding noise, are you sure you do not have a brake dragging or something to that effect?

Ok I just took off rear right tire to see if brakes were catching they were not.
Switched the front right tire for the right rear as still the noise continues.......
Noise is not there when I put in neutral or let off accelerator only when I give it gas and accelerate..
