Replaced Rear Air Shocks
I replaced my worn out and leaking OEM Air shocks with Monroe Max Air shocks. In order to connect the factory air lines to the Monroe Max Air shocks I snipped the flared end of the factory air line order to install the Monroe air fittings on the factory air line and than connect them to the shocks. I than realized that the air compressor was running but not supplying air. I got lucky and found a NOS compressor on eBay. New compressor is installed, no air leaks and the auto leveling system is working perfectly.. The OEM shocks uses a tapered push on fitting for the air connection where as the Max Air shocks uses a threaded compression fitting. (Both connections have O-Rings for a good seal)

Glad it all worked out.
Do you happen to have part numbers for others? I myself don't have that ride package, but other might find it helpful. |
Part Number: 24019756, Style: 259C, Auto Self Level Suspension Shock Control Pump Chevy Blazer GMC Jimmy
Superseded Part Numbers: 22137259 22137446 22137571, 22065030 22137252 22153129 24019750. Search either part number or style on Ebay. Most compressors are used and are listed by style number. I got extremely lucky on a NOS compressor. There was only one listed and I purchased it as soon as I saw it listed. (The compressors are obsolete from GM) Note: The filter is foam in a plastic housing. The foam will be deteriorated. Right now I have a aftermarket replacement filter installed but I have air filter foam on order and will replace the foam and install the OEM filter housing with the new filter material installed.
