Default Replacing Differential Seal

Got a leak on the front drivers side. How much of a pain in the A$$ is it to fix? Any tips before I jump right in? Or any special tools I'll need. Thanks.

this might help you see what your digging into

Light Truck 1996 Blazer/Jimmy 4 X 4 FRONT AXLE-FRONT SUSPENSION-STEERING Car parts for your Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Hummer, Light Truck, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and more!

as far as difficulty, i just did my passenger side..not bad at all

i am guessing you are talking about the seal right before the cv shaft on the front axle itself.

i did a write up on the passenger side in the diy section...it may help you out.

Sweet Jesus... Thanks for the diagrams. I'll check out your write up soon too. How long did it take you to do it?
