Rough Ride - 2000 Blazer
 

I recently purchased a 2000 Blazer. One of the things that struck me initially after driving was the roughness of the ride. My driveway is unpaved and a little uneven and when I first entered it the truck rode so rough that I thought it was going to throw it from my seat. I have a 90 C 1500 that rides beautifully and the difference was dramatic. The tires have the correct air pressure and the shocks seem to have the proper "bounce". The tires however are off road with large treads. Can this be part of the problem. Is there any other cause I may investigate

Any type of suspension lift or torsion bar crank, that will stiffen things up
