Default self leveling air shocks

so i recently bought a 95 blazer with self leveling rear shocks but i think there is something wrong with the system.
Can anyone tell me where the compressor for the system is located and where the relay that controls it is located and which fuse goes to the system?
Thanks.

I can answer this myself. The compressor is behind the right rear wheel inside the bumper housing and the relay is next to the compressor.

Glad you were able to find the system. I think the air-ride system was pretty rare on the Blazer Jimmy. I hope you're able to figure out why it's not working.

It was quite obvious when I had removed the compressor.
Something was missing that should have covered the electric motor so it was completely rusted and the shell was rusted to pieces.

So right now I'm wondering if it's possible to use the remaining parts of the system together with a pump from another car.

You likely could replace the pump if you can find one compatible. In North America GM used self-levelling systems on many different vehicles such as mini-vans, full-size sedans, and SUVs.

Just FYI, I know on the GMT360 Trailblazer/Envoy platform the auto levelling suspension used an air compressor with 3 outputs. One per side on the rear axle and one for the inflator station in the rear cargo area. This system had sensors that sensed the body tilt compared to the axle and could air up one shock to compensate for an uneven load. I don't know if this is the same version used on the Blazer/Jimmy.

For the pump, you probably have to find a way to go from GM's connections to a universal one.

The sensor for the level control is in the middle of the rear axle so it only takes the total load and I think it is also the one that starts the compressor if needed.

I believe that the correct part number for your Blazer is::GM 22137571 Compressor,Auto Level Control Air (Discontinued)
I found this listing on ebay. You might be able to merge yours and the ebay unit to make one good unit.

I have the Auto Level Control in my 2000 GMC Jimmy. I was lucky, and I was able to locate a NOS Compressor. One of the items you should look at is there is a small air filter housing that you should open the lid and inspect the foam filter. On my Jimmy the air filter material was totally disintegrated. I found some foam air filter material and using a gasket cutter fitted new foam in the housing. The large container is the desicant dryer. and a new dryer is available on ebay. When I was looking for a replacement compressor there was an ebay seller that was refurbishing Air suspension compressors but it appears he no longer has listings on ebay. The only thing that might be useful is the wires from mine and I suspect that the shipping to Sweden will be very expensive. So I have to look for another solution for now.
