Spindle replacement questions!! ASAP!!!
So a few months ago I JB welded my caliper to the spindle (Where the caliper bolts onto... I think it's called the spindle... lol). Anywho... One of the bolts went missing and I'm gonna have to replace the whole spindle.
My question is, HOW DO I DO IT?!
I'm gonna be doing it myself so I need possible a related topic with this, a link to a site that tells me how, or something.
I'm pretty sure I have to remove ball joints and tie-rod to do this. If someone could just explain the steps to doing it, it would REALLY help me out.
And I'm using ALL hand tools.... NOTHING power what so ever.
I NEED ANSWERS TONIGHT PLEASE!!!!!!!
And thank you!

2wd or 4wd? Vehicle details are pretty much a requirement for any requests for help. We aren't psychic. Regardless, you won't have fun, that is for sure.
The basics of it... You'll need a pickle fork & a 5lb or larger hammer to pop the ball joints & tie-rod ends loose. And you'll need some chisels to get the bearing assembly off of the steering knuckle if you're driving a newer truck... If 4wd, you will also have to have a 36mm socket, breaker bar, & cheater pipe to get the axle nut off.
You may end up damaging the ball joints in the process and, if you do, expect to multiply the initially painful experience by a factor of 10 if you don't have any power tools (grinder, compressor, etc)
Even a Haynes manual (available at your nearest parts store) would help you in this case.
