Suspension lift check list
OK I have decided to put some serious cash into my 91 s10 blazer 4.3TBI 2WD instead of getting a new truck. I have always wanted install a suspension lift, so after much research I have came across the following parts:
Upper and lower control arm kit: 1982-2003 S10/S15 Front A-Arm Kit, Delrin Bushings, Standard Upper Ball Joints [383233-1] - $899.99 : UMI Performance, Inc.
Fabtech 3.5 in Spindle lift w/ Shackle and shocks
Fabtech Part fabk1041 - 3.5 inch Spindle System with Performance Shocks by Fabtech-RH2
3.5 in lifted coil springs
lifted coil springs
Replacement leaf springs
Chevy S10 PICKUP, GMC S15 PICKUP Complete Rear Leaf Spring Assembly Kit **SHIPPING COST FOR LEAF SPRINGS ONLY**
I have been looking into this for a long time and want to get some opinions before the order goes in. This should all bolt up, anyone foresee any problems on the install? Any help with additions or better parts would be great. Also going to replace the wheel bearings and sway bar.
I also plan to put a new Moser 4wd rear end to widen the rear track width and make it even with the front (fabtech spindles extend the front 2in) with disc breaks. I have not decided on the diff and gears yet, as i want to get it off the ground first.
And then powdercoat all of the above parts red.
