Default Tbar crank...now she pulls a bit to the left

I just did a 1 1/4" Tbar crank (and 2" shackles) on my '04 Blazer. Now it pulls just slightly to the left. (I actually did 6 turns on the drivers side and 5 turns on the passenger side as the drivers side had a slight sag.) She doesn't wander and doesn't pull more when braking. Could this be because of the difference in left/right front lift? (It didn't pull before the Tbar lift.) I'm getting an alignment on Wednesday and don't plan on driving more than 100 miles max before then.

You MUST have the front end re aligned after any adjustment or replacing of parts.

I know that. I was just wondering if a Tbar crank would cause the truck to pull? The only thing a Tbar crank would do is mess with camber, right? How would that affect the steering?

Are you 3Leaf Fab? I used your shackles.

the tbar crank adjusts the front end geometry, yes can make it pull, wear tires out, among other things.

nope I'm not Devin, I been running his banner on a few forums to help him out since he started the company. Trying to get the word out so maybe it'll keep the fire lit under him to get that SAS kit produced.

Not to interupt but I cranked mine 5 turns or 1 1/4 and had it aligned today and all they did was crank it back down. So I asked him why they would do that and he said that was the only way to get it back in spec.

The only thing is was it already cranked before you done it? If so yes they will have to lower it cause once you go too far you can't shim it enough to get back in spec.

If it wasn't cranked before you did it, time to find a shop that knows what they are doing.

I wouldn't touch it unless you wanna first find out if it was already cranked and 2nd if it wasn't find a shop that will align it without turning it back down

I just got back from Pepboys, because I cranked the t-bar 1.5in, rode around on it for a few days, then discovered that the tread on my drivers side tire was wearing on the outside extremely fast. So the guy at Pepboys lowered it down an inch and told me it should be fine now. So $77 later I got a .5" lift. That really sucks!, my advice is don't mess with the t-bars unless you can find someone who can properly adjust the camber \----/ of the tires. It's just not worth trashing your tires.

I had to lower my Tbars down a bit so I ended up with around 1" but it seems my alignment was way off anyway so it's all good. I'll still be able to fit 31s (my goal) with a 2" body lift in the spring.
