Traction Bars

I havea 2000 Blazer 2wd 2dr 4.3 5sp. I get rear wheel hop bad when I take of hard when the roads are wet. I can avoid that. It happened to me this weekend pulling my boat out of the water when the ramp was wet. I'm running stock tires on it light A/T tires. Will air shocks help to reduce the wheel hop or do I need to get a set of traction bars? If I get a set of traction bars will it give me a rough ride?

RE: Traction Bars

The slapper style traction bars for leaf spring applications should not cause any change in ride quality when installed and adjusted properly.

I am not sure why the Lakewood 21705 bars are shown as only working up to 1998, but I would contact Lakewood technical support and ask. They should be the same on through the end of Blazer production.
