Transmission Dipstick
 

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer LS 2 door 2 wheel drive. I am needing to replace just the Transmission Dipstick. The old one at some point got broken and soldered back together prior to me purchasing the truck. The transmission is due for a fluid change but no garage will take on the fluid change due to the dipstick being messed up. Does anyone know where I can get one without buying an entire transmission? I've called several salvage yards and they all want me to buy a complete transmission. I've called the dealer and they can't get it. Any help appreciated.

i ebayed mine... the old one was all bent up and looked like it was used as a slim jim or something..lol.. it was it horrid shape...

but ive seen them on ebay... rockauto.com... autozone had mine available through special order.. could have had it in 3 days... ebay is probably the cheapest route.. i ran into the same problem 2 at junk yards... they all wanted me to buy the whole transmission....

mine came in the original package.. shrink wrapped to the cardboard....

I saw they have one for about $14 so you're probably looking at maybe $20 shipped to your door.
