very light steering

Sorry new here; Just bought a used 2002 4x4 Blazer LS 4dr for my daughter to drive. First issue of many I am sure is the steering is very light and stays that way at highway speeds so I am sure my EVO speed sensor steering is not working. Will replacing the sensor fix this? Will replacing the steering dampener do anything? Cannot let her drive it on the hwy until I get it figured out. Truck has 145,000 miles.
