What transfer case do I have?

I have a stock 88 K5 Blazer with the TBI 350 and 700r4 tranny. What transfer case do I have? Or where do I look to find out? Thanks

Most likely you have the NP208. But could be the NP241. The tag on the transfer case should tell you which.

ha, seems like the 88 is the year they changed to the 241, says both were available for that year

Transmission (A): TH700-R4 (3.06:1 First Gear)

Transfer Case (A): NP208 (2.61:1 Low Range)
NP241 (2.72:1 Low Range)

so get to checking the tag. they both kinda look similar
