I was gonna do a 2 inch but decided against it... all it does is crank your t-bars and replace the upper control arms... the rear is option of shackles or add-a-leafs.... kida dangerous ot do to your suspension... if you read the fine print on the superlift it specifically says "CAUTION: NOT FOR HARD OFF ROADING!".... i decided against it.... go with a 5 inch or somethin or do a 2 inch body... the 2 inch suspension lifts can damage things.....

What a_tack said is pretty much dead on from what I've read as well. I was thinking about a susp lift for my first gen but decided that a 3" BL and cut fenders is fine for me. If it were me I would go with a 5" susp lift or none at all. What are your intentions with it?

what i wanna do is be able to do something where i can put a 33" tire under my truck or something close to that. but i wanna lift a little and i dont plan to do off-roading. mainly for show and just that little bit of a higher stance:D

I think you can accomplish your goals with a 5" lift. Like I said I was seriously considering putting in a suspension lift into my truck. Determined that a 2" is risky as you can have front end problems with cv's and what not. I read that the best lift was the Rancho lift, but that hasn't been produced in years. Claimed to have been 3" or something but was like 4-4.5 I think. Either 6" or nothing. :)

trailmaster makes a good 5inch lift........ you might be able to claer 33's with a 5inch.. id say 32's are more likely to fit right....

Like a_tack said, even with 5" of lift you'll only clear 32's without rubbing. To fit 33's you need 6" or some trimming, and the 6" lifts are for ZR-2 only. I strayed away from the 2" lift too, you'll wear out ball joints and front suspension components quick. Plus its around $700 by the time you buy longer shocks, the 5" is around $1500 w/ shocks. I did a post somewhere that lists all the lifts available for the 4wd Blazers, body, suspension, ZR-2, and non-ZR2. It probably could use some updating, and I was going to find out the 2wd lifts for those interested, but I haven't found many.
