Default 2/3" drop w/20´s

I have a 2001 blazer xtreme and some new 245/35/20 series tires on a 20x9" rim.I think offset is like 18mm? Would 1" wheel spacers all around to flare out the wheels from rubbin make 2" drop spindles in the front and 3" blocks rear work??? Also do I need some new springs if I have spindles??

Damn. 9-inches is wide. I have 18 x 8's and I had to trim some of my flare so my tires would not rub when I hit a bump while turning.

ouch, so u think that I would have some problems? I mean, dont you think that the 1" spacers would work to avoid that? Unless ur talking about the outer flare right?

Yep. Inside of fenderwell, had to trim flare a little. This was after I was lowered too. I say throw them on the front with and without spacers and turn wheel lock-to-lock and see if anything hits. Then you can measure to see if lowering will hit anything too.

ill try it, but with 9" wide I checked the turning radius and see some rubbing on the inside. I will need just a half an inch spacer to seperate that rubbing. Then I measured the wheel to the inner flare like you said, yep, if I get spacers and lower it i need to trim it alittle. Ah yes, the question. I got 3"lowering blocks, 2" drop spindles, and 4 shocks for lowered vehicles. Do I need lowering springs too? I mean, I got those spring compressors, u know, the ones you bolt on the spring, then as u screw it tighter it lowers the truck.

I would do the springs too. Only like $100. Spindles are the most expensive part of the drop.

Can use a spring compressor if you want. Most guys jack up the lower control arm, unbolt everything then slowly lower the jack down to take the spring out. Up to you.

hmm, I mean when I get the spindles on will that automatically lower the truck with the stock
springs on??

so 2" drop spindles would only drop it like 1" with stock springs. To get the max I would have to get
2" lowering springs. gotcha

I'd go with the 3-inch shorter coils, unless you have clearance issues.
