Ball Joints

I just bought a 2000 4x2 Blazer. Are ball joints an issue with both 4x4 and 4x2 models? Thanks..

Congrats on the truck.

I haven't had any problems with my ball joints.

Thanks. That's good to know. I'll keep everything well greased.

It all depends on where you drive. If you have a lot of pot holes or lower than road grade manhole covers (like I have strewn through my town), then the balljoints will take a beating much more than if you drive mainly smooth highways. Keep them greased and they should last a LONG time!
