What is your end goal for this truck? How high do you want to go or how large of a tire do you want to fit?

There are a LOT of different ways you can go with it. Are you opposed to a body lift or do you want suspension lifts only? You can do some quick searching around summitracing.com or jegs.com. OffRoadDesign.com has some good kits as well.

I would not recommend blocks, but that's just me. I have seen too many problems as a result even though many people use them without issue.

I'd put the engine and trans in or whatever before lifting it. My k5 with 6 inchs I had to lay on the axle to change the engine
