lift kit

Would a lift kit from a s10 truck fit on a blazer? The reason i am asking is that for sale up the road from me is an s10 truck that was lifted . it has been totaled by a fire in the engine compartment, and is fairly cheep. Would it be practical for me to buy it and then take all of the suspention parts off of it? I belive it has a 4-5 inch lift on it. Thanks

I'm not a 100% sure about dimensions, but I would think most if not all of it would work. Take a tape measure and do some measuring on your suspesion mounting locations, and on the Sonoma. I'm pretty sure the rear will work.
How is it lifted? blocks or springs? How much is the sonoma?

1600 sounds cheap enough. What kind of shape is the truck in other then the fire damage? maybe you can get the parts off it you want and sell everything else to get your money back. Rear ends and box should fetch some good money if decent shape. hows the drive train? If that stuff is good, you'll get good money for that too. Depending on the shape, you should easily get your money back plus have a lift and new tires for your blazer. What size tires?

the truck looks good except for the engine compartment, that is all burned up, the engine is still in it, chard. i think the tires are 31 or 32 12 in wide. i went and looked at it closer and found that the lift kit involved some welded brackes to the frame, would i still be able to use them if i cut them off?

Yes you can still use them if you cut them off with out wrecking them.
If you plan on buying it take some pics. Sounds like a good deal though.

eh not to good of news, went and looked at it again today and compared my suspension to the sonoma, it wont work, the sonoma is a highrider, basicly a gmc zr2, so i found that the mounting points are all different. Oh well......

make sure the fire didn't damage any bushings for the front lift
