limited slip time

Well im gettin sick of my blazers open differentials.. So when I get the money saved up I'm gonna put torsen style limited slip carriers in front and back along with some 3.73 gear. I considered lockers but I dont want the decreased driveability on the road. Is anybody running the torsen setup out there?? Also I am not real familiar with the IFS on these blazers. Is there anything special I need?? Or just the carrier, ring and pinion gear, and possibly some new bearings. (pretty sure ill get them changed while it is apart)

My blazer is a 2000 non-zr2 4x4 with automatic trans. right now it has open diffs and 3.42 gear

One more question. I believe that I have the 7.625" diff with 28 spline axels. Does this sound right?? Are there RPO codes for this so i can be sure?

Yes, the Blazer has a 28 spline axle, however, I would NOT reccomend putting an LSD in the front diff... It's an aluminum housing, so I don't know if it can take the oomph it needs for LSD style work...

if you plan on lifting your blaze and want lsd i would switch from independent to a straight axle
