replacement Leaf springs
Where online can one buy replacement leaf springs for a 2000 Jimmy, mine are flatter then a level, and are kind of bending the opposite way, I was thinking aal but I might as well buy the whole new spring, it would be cool if I actually found lift springs like a full size. Anyone know where to look?? Thanks

i used these in my 98
these are oem leafs 95-05 Blazer / Jimmy / Envoy / Bravada Rear Leaf Spring - TheSuspensionKing.com and then you will need to put in an add a-leaf Chevy S-10 Blazer Add-a-Leafs 2" Rear by Tuff Country |
Thanks, now with the price of new ones, I might make a bastard pack, I want to find a second leaf and cut about an inch shorter on each side so it will curve out the flattened spring, can I use fullsize springs, or do I have to use s-10 springs?

I did the bastard pack.
My originals were flat...so i went to the yard and got some z85 springs...then took the largest spring from original pack and cut the ends so they where mid point between the one above and below. Worked great for me. |
What all hardware will I need? U bolts, leaf centering pin, leaf clamps?? Can I reuse my stock hardware?? Thanks
|
its not a good idea to reuse the stock hardware.
i had to replace the u bolts and the center pins. |
Ok can I pick up u bolts at carquest or advanced auto / autozone?? And do you know the measurements of the bolts?? Arnt they 3in round??
Or do I need to order online? |
