Super Springs

I have a 1993-1994 S-10 Blazer 4.3 W 4X4 and I in the proses of adding a trailer hitch and i want to put in a leaf spring helper i've been looking at super spings and was wondering if anyone else has added these to there truck. My dad had added them to his 2004 2500 Ram 5.7 and he can put 3,000 pounds in the bed of the truck and the truck hardly goes down. I'm adding these because with the trailer hitch i want to pull my dads 18' boat that weighs 2,500 pounds. If anyone has added anyother leaf spring helper let me know how they worked for you. Thanks in advanced.

RE: Super Springs

There's really no need for the springs. There should be like a bump stop between your springs and frame on the rear (at least mine has it). . . . I put a hidden hitch on my blazer and use it to pull an 18ft procraft Bass180. . the boat and trailer weigh 3,600lbs. . my rear end does not sag, it does level out, but does not sag. So if I were you I wouldn't waste your money on the springs, they are not needed. However, if you decide to do so and are uncomfortable with doing the work yourself, I would pay someone to do it. You do not want your suspension to malfunction.
