I tried to get a German made Ford Capri inspected in Berlin NJ. They only gave a 24 hour pass to get it fixed because it had a combination of holes in the floor and an exhaust leak. I fixed the floor and got a 30 day pass to fix the muffler. Here in AZ they look to see if the check engine lights comes on when you start it and then goes off. The rest of the car they could care less about. I bet if you sprayed the break lines with under coating you would have passed but it's an easy fix. They sell pre made lines up that are easy to bend at most parts stores. Buy the cheap bender tool or get one at Harbor freight.

Man be careful with those spacers.. I put a set on my 85 Monte .. did not end well to say the least ..Wheel passed the car going down a highway at 60 mph . The spacer cracked right in half !

I'll keep an eye on them. I've got a set of spacers on a rock crawler with an 8.8 rear, locker, 4:88 gears and BFG Krawler tires that's been holding for years but I bought the high dollar Spidertrax brand for it. I'll clean the hub and wheel with a wire wheel and tourqe them to 105 lbs using red lock tight to give them the best chance. Kinda cheesy way to fix the track width I know but it was more cheesy and apparently tipsy for GM to sell a vehicle like this with a narrow rear track width. I looked at Honda Element. Same year with the same milage would cost 3 times as much. They have their issues as well. Struts, power steering and bushings like ours are all junk on a Honda so even after you buy one you need to fix them up and it has no low range and won't tow much. So far with a few tweeks the Blazer is a winner!

Stumpalump just to keep you updated .. Sway is gone new shocks all the way around and some helper springs in the back with all new bushings,links ..rides nice even with the Wranglers at 35 psi. In the 2 months I've had it I've replaced all sway bar bushings, links, idler, all 4 ball joints, cv axles, tie rods, tires, shocks, shackles, put helpers on leafs, encoder motor , blower motor, door pins and bushings and replaced the door striker area mine was gone when I got the truck. Whole different truck now!

That's awesome! The spring rate is a little light on these rigs. What spring did you use?

My 97 would do that really bad. The previous owner had the torsion bars cranked up. I lowered them to factory spec and did an alignment fixed the problem for me
