zr2 ride quality

i have a 2002 zr2 all stock suspension and have had it for about 10 months and it is really starting to bug me about such a rough ride, where i live there are alot of gravel/washboard roads and they suck! whenever i drive over then the whole vehicle shakes.. does anybody know of some different shocks that would be a direct replacement but also give it a smoother ride?

Do yourself a favor a keep the Bilsteins. Hands down the best shocks for your ZR2. The previous owner may have cranked the tbars a bit which leads to a bit rougher ride.

Plus these things aren't luxury SUV's or full size sedans. They don't and will not have a smooth ride per say. Stock suspension is the best way to keep these things riding good. Your shocks may be worn out but not completely shot! Maybe a replacement set all round should "smooth" things out.

sounds like your blazer rides about the same as mine. which is probably what leads to all the rattles and loose panels.
