Does anyone have a link or info for a 1998 S10 Blazer 4x4 Rim/Tire Fitment Guide ?
I am the original owner of a 62k original miles black 1998 S10 Blazer 2dr 4x4 with factory touring pkg which came with 235/70/15 tires and 15" wheels. I need to know what I can run for wheel and tires without modifacation or rubbing problems. Just a bolt on. I was looking at running a 235/60x17 Michelin Latitude Touring HP tire and need a good wheel fit. I may consider running a 236/60/16 Michelin Lattitude tire but prefer to go to the 17" HP. Any help will be apreaciated. Thanks Wayne |

It is their business. I expected better customer service then I received.Maybe it was just the person assigned to me as my sales rep.

Dont forget that they specialize in tires, not vehicles. They cant possibly know what rim size, backspacing, offset, actual tire width and height compared to standard size, etc for EVERY VEHICLE ever made. Youre asking for a non standard size, with no specific rim selection. I wouldnt be so quick to judge them...instead...find yourself a rim then worry about tire size.

I did send the a rim size and asked what they had that would fit, I sent tire sizes vehicle specs etc and they do sell tire and rim packages. Please do not post if you do not have anything constuctive to add and not knowing how much information I sent them. I need information that will help me solve my problem of finding a wheel and tire that will fit.I came here looking for info not a hassle. This is just a waste of my time and others who might be intersted in a sloid answer. Thanks

Since you clearly just want all this information just handed to you instead of trying to find anything out yourself, I'll see what I can do.
The largest tire size you can go to without rubbing is 30x9.5. That doesnt have a nice metric equivalent, but the one size up from stock is 235/75/15. If you look at a tire size converter thats been listed on this site multiple times (found here, in case you need that too). If you want a 17' rim with the same tire size, you're lookin at a 235/65/17. Take your pick of tires here. If you want a little wider, Michelin offers a tire in a 245/60/17 here which is a more uncommon tire size. This should fit without rubbing, but that depends on the actual dimensions of the tire you want to get. The sizes you posted could probably work, but if you were already looking at those...no need to ask for help. I dont know of any webpages that have a complete fitment guide youre looking for. The best youre gonna find for a Blazer is the threads on here. Try using the search for more info. |

Thanks Wolfpack , That is the type of info I was looking for. I have been reseaching every day for over a week, I am disable and have been for 19 years and can not afford to buy tires and wheels that do not fit. I am the last person who would ever look for someone to do something for me that I did not try to do myself first. Even then I press on and keep trying. Its hard to have your ability to do thinks you like taken away, that type of life change I never though would happen to me. But I take one day a time and get the most out of each day. Some days its no more then getting out of bed. Thanks for your info ,it does help. My local tire shop is not really into aftermarket wheels, they are know for great tire prices and great service. Because of my disablity I have lost touch with all my car friends. I use to restore old cars and Corvette convertibles. When I became disabled my longtime friends drifed away, seems they had a hard time dealing with my disability. Thats when I found out who the freinds I had were real friend I could count on. So I do a lot on the computer now and have for years. I may have a narrow selection of tire size and wheel size I am loking for because Michelins have the least vibration that would aggrevate my bulging disc. I am looking for the lastest and newest technology in tires. If it was not for the disc I could work on my own vehicle as I always did. Thanks again evry little bit of info helps
