My 4dr 2wd has 18x7.5 rims and uses tires in dirtspeak of 28x9.5. Truck is lowered 2" nothing rubs full lock full bump. Hope that helps

You need more information to answer your question. Do you have specific rims in mind? What is the backspacing/offset of the rims you want? What size of tires are you hoping to run?

Rim height is much less relevant than rim width, backspacing, and the tire height and width. You can fit up to about a 30" tire, with factory backspacing (6") on the rim with no lift, but you may rub a bit with a 8" wide rim. If your rims have 4.5" or less back spacing (more common in aftermarket taller rims) and are 8" wide then you will probably rub at stock height with anything bigger than a 28" tire, and maybe even then. Without lifting I doubt you'll be able to run anything wider than a 255 series tire, and may be better off sticking with a 245 series.
