1979 Camaro

Rims will they fit on blazers?

Ive seen a few around my town that have rims that look really close to the way the 1979 rims look.

they have the same bolt pattern so they will bolt up to a 4wd blazer, but youll need spacers to run them on a 2wd blazer

I have a 2wd. Were would you find spacers at and do i need to look for?

I found a guy selling them with tires for 150.

You do NOT need spacers to run those wheels. The only time you need spacers for Camaro/Firebird wheels is on the 93-02 4th gen wheels. 92-67 wheels will bolt on fine on a 2wd Blazer or S truck with no issues. The only exception being the 16" IROC or GTA wheels which have different offsets front to rear. You can bolt them on but the rears will sit in farther and a small spacer ususally works to get them even with the fronts.

so like i said youll need spacers .

On 85-90 IROC or GTA wheels you can use a small spacer but do not NEED one. On the 79 Camaro rims he is talking about he needs NOTHING. They have zero offset and most likely a 4" back spacing and are 7 or 8" wide. Hub bore may be the only real concern.

do you have a link to this info? i always thought the camaro rims had the same BS as the 4wd blazers not the 2wd.

The rims im talking about are actully smaller then the stock blazer rims their 14in rims but dont know the width.

I don't have a specific link with the info but it's all over. 93-02 F body rims have 35mm positive offset(+ or - a little depending on wheel width) which is correct for 4x4 S trucks. 92 to 67 Camaros have 0 offset the same as 2wd S trucks. I've had several S trucks over the years as well as several F bodies.

As for the Camaro wheels being 14" they are probably 7" wide. They may not work on 98+ Blazers with the dual piston calipers as I believe the smallest you can go is 15" wheel to clear the brakes.
