2010 camaro ss rims???
 

forgive me if this topic has been covered somewhere in the archives of this forum but I'm really struggling with this issue....

here is the deal

MY VEH: 98 4DR BLAZER LT 4X4 I just ordered belltech keys & blocks for a 3" drop (yeah I know....I live in Cali no where to 4wheel close by but it is fun)

any how, RIM SPECS ARE: SIZE 20X9 LUG PATTERN 5X120 OFFSET 35mm

now I know my pattern is 5x120.65 but I seen a xtreme with these on and I fell in love! So has anyone pulled off what I am trying to attempt and what adapters or spacers do I need etc. I haven't ordered the rims yet, they are replicas so they are NOT staggered. I'm hoping to get a nice flush or tuck with this set up if not a minimal poke I can live with. I have seen some on a syclone online and a few dimes trying to pull it off no 4x4's oddly enough.

lastly I been searching going on 4 hours now so if I missed any details let me know. Just I have saved for these rims and now I cant find any info. OH and if anyone has done it what tire size are they running bcuz those 40 series or whatever factory size are dino sized.

Ideally, since yours is a 4wd, you would need to either go with 4 front wheels or 4 back wheels.

But they will be very hard to pull off because of the backspacing and the size of the wheels.

Keep in mind this picture has the s10 jacked up and the full weight of the vehicle isn't on the tires. Also, this truck has no spacers and is not lowered. These wheels are not bolted on, he just put them on the truck to see how they would fit.

Good luck to you sir if you try to put these 'Maro wheels on, but it looks like A LOT more trouble than it is worth.

Oh yeah it is alot of work! I have however found a place that can build me the custom wheel adapters that I need to do this setup. I like the uncharted to be "rare" or at least not as common as your typical blazer. The main issue is that the studs on the 'maro are 14mm vs our 12mm studs and the 'maro rims are hub centric. I'm not strapped for money but I'm not ballin' either. I have the rims on semi lay away (half down) to secure my price @$780 shipped non staggered 20x9. once I pay these off I will order up my adapters and go through the trial and error. It should be a month or two before I have all the components to make this work. I plan on pulling this off just because I would love to run these wheels. I know for a fact with all this will cost I could have a set of rims and tires that would look nice, but why not take one for the team to help anyone in the future who may want to do the same thing

noooooo man I call it a "maro" in real life its "slang" for camaro :icon_screwy: This is the exact reason why my post count is so low but I have this forum as my homepage on my computer. Seriously I'm trying to gain info as well as invest time and money into modifying my SUV (the same SUV most of us all have) as to help someone later down the line who might want to do the same thing. This thread obviously peaked your interest too. So either you want to run the same wheels or are curious to how it can be done or look. I'm not trying to argue, but honestly what was the point of that post?

I didn't need an explanation of what 'maro is.

I already "run" 2000-2002 17x9 Camaro SS wheels with 255/70/17 tires.

The point was if you want people to take you seriously, either here or in real life, stop calling the Chevrolet Camaro a 'maro.

Ranks right up there with the proper use of the shift key in my book. So many people seem like they want to portray themselves as simpletons. It's a shame really.

I found this thread the other night but it looks like the updated it. It looks pretty sweet! so all I would really need would be just the wheel adapters to go from 5x4.75 to 5x120? With a 9" wide tire and a 4x4 am I going to run into any clearance issues with back spacing in the front or rear?
