31" or 32" tires on my 2wd???
Hey guys, Just added the 2" suspension lift to the list. I want to run 32/11.5/15 tires on my 15 X 7 stock wheels. Since the weather here stinks I will not be able to trim fenders until spring. With 4" of total lift do you think I will have problems with rubbing? Remember this is a 2wd and I believe the wheels have 4.5" backspacing. Thanks....

I think you'd still run into rubbing issues with that big a tire. especially at full lock

the issue with back spacing lies in using aftermarket wheels, that don't have the correct back spacing for the truck (think FWD off-set for the 4x4's). if you have 4" of lift the 31's may clear ok, but you never know what's gonna happen when you go into a driveway quickly with your wheels turned. |
I found some like new 265/75/15 Goodyear Wrangler AT's on craigslist and just got them put on today. No rubbing and a nice quiet ride. Can't beat the price for $300 installed!!!
