33x10.5R15 2" Suspension Lift

Hello,

I am very interested in upgrading my 31x10.5R15 tires to 33x10R15 with 2" shackles in the rear and fully cranked torsion bars in the front. I'm aware that trimming will be a must at this high and I'm perfectly fine with that. I just would like to know exactly how much trimming would be needed. I have a '95 S10 Blazer LS 4 door with 2WD S10 rims.

All the way back to the firewall

Why not just use a 2" body lift? You'll still have to trim, but it will keep your suspension from getting destroyed the first time you put it in 4WD

With those big tires what will you do to restore your braking torque?

Let's see, I have a ZR2 with a 2" body lift, 2" shackles and a slight tbar crank of about an inch. I had to trim up front on the firewall and had to trim out back on the fender flares. Oh, and I have the 4wd wheels on it with 33X10.5X15's.

Yeah, I don't see you having any problems at all with your plan.

If you REALLY want to put 33's on your Blazer you will need to put a proper lift on it or plan on breaking out sawzall and have yourself a trail rig.
