33x12.50x15 tyres on stock rims on a m1009
Hi all recently bought a m1009 and changed the tyres for more aggressive 33x12.50x15 Maxxis Buckshot mudders, anyone got any thoughts on best tyre pressures, just joined the forum today,my name is Barney and I am from Sheffield ,England.
Cheers guys.:icon_shrug: |
Welcome... every fullsize I've driven recently called for 35PSI in the tires... I wouldn't go much lower than 32 for everyday driving on roads.

why don't you just take a look @ the sidewall on the tire?
it'll tell you the max pressure, and you can adjust it down from there if you find it too firm of a ride @ max pressure. i run LT's on all my trucks, and run them @ the max pressure (they vary between 50 to 65 psi.) |
it depends on the tire. Read what it says on the sidewall. My 33s have a max of 35psi

Agreed. Remember, the higher the pressure, the better your mileage will be--it might not make a big difference, but there will be some. Also, the higher the pressure the firmer/bouncier the ride will be--this could be more noticeable.
