98 Blazer LT - 2 wheel drive - Proper Tires

Recommended size tires for this car is 235/70/15. I have always, since replacing originals, had Bridgestone Duelers H/T aka Alenza on this vehicle. Bridgestone has discontinued this size and I am being recommended if I want to stay with the Alenza to up to 235/75/15.

My understanding is the 4 wheel drive came standard with the 235/75/15 which is different than my 2 wheel drive vehicle.

I am concerned going to a slightly taller, less wide tire for handling reasons and also that I've heard the speedometer reading will change slightly due to the way the car was set up for the 70 size.

Can anywho enlighten me on, if I should go with the 75 size, what changes I will notice, etc.

Thank you.

my 96 4x4 should have 235/70s but i put 235/75s on it and my speedo is minimally off. My speedo and 3 different gps's only say its 1 off and its hardly ever that i saw it be different between the two

Thank you for the input.

Is your speedo show you are going 1 mile slower or faster?

Any difference in handling?
