after market wheels.

Just wondering what website has aftermarket wheels that will fit 04 blazer zr2. Everywhere I look they say nothing will fit my truck.

Try rims that fit BMW 5 and 7 series 90's, they have same 5x120mm size. But check central hole diameter - it can be different!

there is a lot out there just do a simple google search and remember to look for this bolt pattern
5x120.65 mm / 5x 4.75"

ebay ususally has some stuff...

grensha2 02-11-2011 07:22 AM

Not having a problem finding the bolt pattern its the backspacing. The problem Im having is finding a rim with 6" backspacing.

What type of rims are you looking for? Head over to some of the 4 wheel sites and check out what they have. Myself, and a lot of others on this site ordered wheels from 4wheelparts.com. Good luck with the search.

i have done my fair share of searching for rims with the stock 6'' backspacing, only found a few rims within my budget that were 5'' or less, i was looking at spending $150 a rim, the rims i settled on are 4'' backspacing, mainly for looks and price, but they will stick out, and more than likely they will rub and require fender surgery, bottom line is, unless you looking on spending big bucks for a custom rim or at least more than i was willing to spend....not alot of rims available in my opinion! let us know what you find!

ZR2 wheels sizes?

Hello all. I'm tring to fit a set of 33x12.50 tires under my 1998 ZR2 blazer. I have a 2" rear shackle, 1.5" T-bar crank, and a 2" body lift. My question is what size rim can I put on it? I had a 15x8 under it and this would rub with the stock 31x10.50's (before the body lift). Anyone know the stock ZR2 rim? And the back spacing?

Also another question is, I've been told that their is 6" of back spacing on a 7" wheel? Is this possible? Or is this the 6mm off-set that their talking about? And for that matter whats the difference between back spacing and off set?

Your stock ZR2 wheels are indeed 7" wide with 6" backspacing. There are VERY few vehicles with those specs so there isn't much in the way of aftermarket wheels. If you check out synergyoffroad.com, there are a few wheels available with the stock specs.

Search google for 'wheel offset vs backspacing'. There are plenty of resources out there that do a better job of explaining it than I could.

i still find it amazing that sooooo many people don't realize that the ZR's have the same wheels. :icon_doh:

^ you do know that alot of the wheels for FWD cars will fit as well, rght?

i picked up a set of 17" wheels from a Honda Ridgeline for my Blazer.

http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/a...k/HPIM3555.jpg

the Honda bolt pattern is 120mm and our truck works out to a metric size of 120.65mm. off-set was fine front & back, and they run down the highway (~130kph) without any issues.

since there are so many FWD cars over there, try taking a look @ what you have available for them.

the biggest issue anyone over here has, is trying to find wheels for a TBSS. friend of mine has one, and the only wheels that fit his truck (for the Winter) are the Saab SUV ones.

they actually look pretty good too.

mdehoogh 02-16-2011 01:03 PM

I didn't realize Ridgelines were 120. Most 5-lug Hondas are 114.3

Also, nearly every BMW is a 5x120

weazel20002000 02-16-2011 02:12 PM

Anyone know what the maximum back spacing of a 15x7 wheel that you can go with out having any clearance problems?

:icon_doh: forgot about them Bimmers. considering i knew that about 12-13 years ago when we had to move my friend's 328is after the wheels were stolen off it. guess it shows i've got too much crap stored in the hard drive. but i do know if you use the 14" stampd steel wheels, they won't clear the Bimmer's front calipers. makes for a great "line lock" for a burn-out! :)

yes, alot of the older cars are 114.3, but alot of the wheels are dual patterned.

now you guys are thinking outside the box. :)

Maximum or minimum? Stock is 6" and I've never seen anything larger (on a 15x7). There's a member here with 17x9 camaro wheels with 7" backspacing.

Clearance isn't determined solely by backspacing or wheels though. Tire size and ride height can both affect it so you have to take them all into account
