bead leak
i was wondering if tire slime would temporarily fix a bead leak?

I absolutely would not trust it to do that. The rim needs to be repaired, if possible.

Is the bead damaged in any way or is it just leaking past the bead and tire? The reason for my question is I had a leaking bead so I broke down the tire and found that the aluminum had oxidized at the bead. What I did was completly sand down the bead area on the tire side of both inner and outter lip surfaces, hit them with a little spray paint remounted the tire and used a little bead sealer or Monkey Snot as we call it and have not had a problem with it since. Now I need to check the other three for oxydation.

im actually not sure if the bead is broken or not my tires have been sitting on rims for completely flat for about 4 or 5 years and when i fill them with air they go completely flat within 5 days so the bead might be broken but i havn't taken the tires off the rims to check but if i can't do anything about this im just going to bring them to the Tire Warehouse thats 50 yds from my house so yah i mean id rather do it myself so i dont have to pay alot but if i have to i will but Tire Warehouse is guna charge me 25 bucks a tire to fix the bead on it.
