best mud/ off road tires

My blazer is a stock '98 4x4 4 door. Tire size p235/15r. Whats a good offroad tire to look at.

I have had the same set of BFG AT 30x9.5x15 on my truck for almost 10 years. For the driving I do I have never had a problem. My 4 wheeling is mostly beach driving for fishing.

you will get a lot of opinions on this one... Ive been happy with BFG All Terrains, and KM2 Mud Terrains, Toyo Open Country Mud Terrains. Pro Comp tires have been problematic for me, but decent traction.

Cooper SST good in mud and snow

Im leaning towards the bfg all terrains. in 30X9.5. They are a good price as well

not really a mud offroad tire

I have the Good Year DuraTracs and my truck doesnt stop in the mud or snow, and they are still really nice on the street. I have heard that the BFG a/t tires are crap... never tried them tho. BFG mud terrains are good, but not as good in the snow as the DuraTracs if that even matters to you. Basically the next best tire for snow over DuraTracs are probably Iroc's. But for pure mud, the BFG M/T or the KM2 will be the best.

What kind of terrain are you looking to conquer? Mud, sand, gravel, snow, pavement?

mud, snow, and they need to be ok on the road. I dont mind tire noises on the highway.

I'm not talking crazy mud here, just so I wont get stuck to easy.
