bigger tires on a 2dr 2wd
so Ive got a stock 95 2wd 2dr blazer, has 235/70/15's on it
I was thinking about putting 265/75's on it was woundering if I would have a problem with tire rub think it's about 2" different |
Pretty sure you'll have problems with no lift and those size tires. 245/75 would probably be about as big as you could go at stock height.

I have 235/75-15's on my '02 2WD and had rubbing issues at full lock. I have some rubbing at the rear inside on the inner fender and rubbing on the sway bar.

i dont have any issues at the moment, with 235/70/15 not sure about the differents in the two, (235/70 & 235/75)
|
just did a little google search came up with this
http://www.rocky-road.com/calculator.html 235/70/15=27.9 235/75/15=28.8 the differents in the two is just at an inch, ok so would that inch make it rub ? |
I find it hard to believe with as tall as 2wd Blazers are that a 1" taller tire would be rubbing. Are you running stock wheels?
|
Just install a 2" body lift and stick with 30" tall tires.

Later, Doug As far as the original question. It has been said time and time and time again on this forum that 30x9.5 is the biggest tire you can have on a stock blazer without rubbing issues. Use the search function, theres a very helpful thread about it. http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/a...c/IMG_0093.jpg |
