bigger tires in rear??
ok, so i know this is a little out of ordinary (considering i've almost litterally found nothing about it anywhere), but i have a 03 2dr RWD that i thought the idea of putting on larger wheel and/or tires on the rear. basically looks and traction are the pros i see. and comments/suggestions??
thanks guys |
As long as your trucks not a 4 wheel drive, it really won't hurt anything. The only thing it will do is change your caster angle slightly. As long as you're not going too huge, you probably won't even notice.

I think bigger tires look good in the rear, you can probably fit 265's in the rear and keep the 235's up front
|
Personally, I've never cared for the idea. What if you have a flat - does the spare match the front ones or the rear ones?
|
Two spare tires would take care of that problem! I'd be more concerned with the speedometer not indicating correctly.

if you're going after the ol' raked hot rod look, then you've nailed it.
while i like the look-on the right application-it's really up to you, since you're the one who is gonna be driving it every day. |
